Music at Hope

The music ministry at Hope continues to be a very important part of the worship experience.  The Chancel Choir explores various styles of choral music, often joined by vocal soloists as well as instrumentalists.

We are very fortunate to have a wonderful organist, with a recorder adding variety to the sound of our hymns. The Hope Ensemble continues to perform various styles of music, ranging from favorite hymns to contemporary worship songs.

The Bells of Hope, a handbell choir consisting of 7 ringers ringing 3 octaves of Schulmerich  handbells and 3 octaves of Schulmerich Melody Chimes, rehearse on Monday evenings from September through Music Sunday in June. They ring at least once a month, including Christmas Eve , Palm Sunday and Pentecost. Music rung is appropriate to the church year with a few special pieces on Music Sunday. As we own 5 octaves of handbells, we can always use more ringers and welcome anyone who would be interested in learning how much fun it is to ring!

We continue to emphasize quality music at Hope and welcome newcomers to join in the fun of sharing our time and talent to the glory of God.
